Treasures in Rummage...

is the name of the sale Wheaton Christian Center Church is holding tomorrow, Friday, April 2nd, and Saturday, April 3rd in the same building where EmilysBreakfast Furniture is located. Doors for the rummage sale open at 7:00 a.m. on Friday and the sale will run until 6:00 p.m. and then open again on Saturday at 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. So, lots of time to wander through looking at the treasures they've been collecting since last fall. Remember EmilysBreakfast Furniture rents space from the church and is not affiliated with them (though we are very appreciative of the relationship we have with Wheaton Christian Center). Look for signs which will direct you to where within the church building the sale will be staged (I believe clothes and other miscellaneous items will be on the church/school side of the building and furniture might be east of where I'm located).

Though tomorrow is Good Friday and a pivotal piece of the Christian faith leading up to Easter Sunday - which you might call the whole enchilada - EmilysBreakfast Furniture will be open our normal hours on Friday of 1 to 8 and Saturday from 9 to 4.

So, without further ado - here are a few photos of some of the donations we picked up this week:

old student desk and two small chairs for $25

gorgeous dresser with mirror (mirror piece is lying on top of the dresser) from the 1920s (at least that's what one of my volunteers thought) for $175

round table for $35 (we received three of these tables)

chairs for $15 - one photo shows the chair without the back piece and the other with - we have all the back pieces but the donor must have used the chairs without - because that's how they came to me (there are something like 8 or 10 of these chairs and they are stackable IF you take the seat cushion off)

here's a whole living room set all covered in the same pattern and material: wing back chair for $25; love seat for $35 and sofa for $45

white painted wood chair for $25

organizer? CD holder? Whichever! Price? $25

lovely side pedestal table for $65

very nice floral sofa for $135 and the bonus is we received two of 'em (both priced the same and both in excellent condition)

May you understand the depth, breadth and height of God's love for you! He adores you! It's true and what we celebrate this weekend is proof.

Take care!
