Greetings! Welcome to the EmilysBreakfast Furniture blog where each week we show you some of the new-to-us furniture which we received for donated that week. What follows represents a small percentage of what you’ll find in our 30,000 square feet of warehouse space.
EmilysBreakfast Furniture is located in the Wheaton Christian Center Church building which is on the southeast corner of North Ave. and Schmale Rd. (exact address is 610 E. North Ave. Carol Stream, IL 60188). Our store – as strange as it may be – is only open two days each week: Fridays from 1 to 8 and Saturdays from 9 to 4.
The proceeds of everything we sell are helping to support the programs and services offered through Outreach Community Ministries. To read personal stories of those impacted by OCM – click on this link to go to our sister site, Hearts of Grace.
Onto some photos!
two drawer wood and wrought iron coffee table priced $125
gorgeous old oak cabinet that’s been painted red (it’s not as red as this photo makes it look) – mirror behind the top shelf – priced $165 (needs to be cleaned to eliminate odor that you smell when you open the doors)
IKEA futon with mattress and extra cover – priced $135
amazing, beautiful pieces by Henkel-Harris – first dresser is priced $250; taller chest of drawers is $275; oval mirror is $95 – everything is in excellent condition
sweet rolling server priced $125

three piece sectional by Karpen – needs to be cleaned but otherwise in great shape – priced $185
red micro-suede sofa – both corners have kitty claw marks – priced $80
this dining room set is by Heywood-Wakefield (donor provided certificate of inspection as well as the furniture is marked with the Heywood-Wakefield label) and included a table, 3 leaves and 6 chairs (last two photos show where the caning is ripped on two of the six chairs – other four chairs are fine) and is priced $395; two piece lighted china cabinet (two photos show top and bottom – we didn’t have the manpower to lift the top onto the bottom yesterday) priced $295; rolling buffet is $125. Other than the caning issues and a small chip on one bottom corner of the buffet – the set is in excellent condition
four wrought iron outdoor chairs – all four for $60 (some rust and a couple of the chairs have wire reattaching the seat to the legs – actually pretty creative way of dealing with the problem); small round wrought iron table for $15
wonderful bench – you could remove the cushion and there’s lovely caning underneath (though then the bench seat would be rather low) priced $95
amazing wrought iron and brass – large – baker’s rack – really a gorgeous piece – very heavy and solid – priced $295
we received four of these matching wingback chairs – priced $45 each
I love this sweet yellow side table priced $85
